On Saturday I went to a birthday party for 1-year-old Ameila.
She is the daughter of my friend (and photographer) Ricci.
I couldn't resist getting her this little red peacoat and a mini sock monkey!
Ricci's very good looking husband, Mbaye, is one of the 25 finalists for Redbook's 2012 Hot Husband of the Year! Please vote for him here! If he wins, they win a trip, and they've never had a honeymoon.
How cute is their little family!?! One thing I love about DC is how diverse it is.
All of Ricci's friends speak French. They all met when they lived in Senegal.
